VILLA MAROC
Un des plus beaux hôtels du Maroc en termes d'atmosphère ! L’accueil, la cuisine, l’agencement, la situation, le charme, l’ambiance – et aussi sa terrasse sur le toit ! La Villa possède également, tout prêt d’Essaouira, une très belle ferme avec table d’hôte et piscine pour passer la journée en délicieux "dolce farniente".

Au premier étage dans un petit derb perpendiculaire à la grande rue qui Longe la médina, vous découvrirez un merveilleux bric-à-brac des années 60,70, ainsi que quelques tables seulement… Le jeune patron Abdellatif y sert une cuisine fine et raffiné. Mieux vaut réserver car le bouche à l’oreille fonctionne bien pour cet endroit inclassable, décalé…

Skoura
En venant de Ouarzazate, à l’entrée de la ville de Skoura, à gauche. Très bien indiqué, suivez une longue piste bien balisée ; au bout vous découvrez une belle maison d’hôtes toute en pisé avec un petit jardin de paradis (avec piscine). Très confortables, les quelques chambres et suites sont décoré avec beaucoup de goût, tout est très bien tenu par Caroline, la propriétaire... excellente table d'hôtes.

Tata
Qui va à Tata ? C'est vrai que c'est un peu loin, mais vous devriez le faire, le paysage est magnifique... Dans ce cas : séjournez à Dar Infiane, maison d'hôtes charmante dans une ancienne ferme fortifiée.

Mirleft
Installé tout en hauteur dans l'ancienne fort Espagnol de Mirleft. Simplement d'un charme fou!! Un des hôtels les plus originaux que nous connaissons! Du vrai bon goût, beaucoup de décontraction et du temps (qui s'est arrêté...), jolie piscine. Le patron Jean-François, légèrement excentrique, très sympathique, présent et bienveillant. Une vue splendide sur Mirleft, la mer et les couchers de soleil...
Bon service. Pour les amateurs : il y a un vivier à homards et langoustes....

Unique et magnifique villa Art Déco, rénovée avec les plus grands soins imaginables, hôtel très raffiné, Relais & Châteaux – le vrai luxe dans un cadre feutré. Très bon et très beau restaurant aussi…. Petit mais excellent Spa au sous-sol, jolie petite terrasse sur le toit...

On y mange fort bien, dans un cadre rustique, authentique, rappelant les vieux jours…Si vous êtes seul ou que 2 personnes, installez vous au bar, prenez des tapas de fruits de mer,mêlez vous au peuple … on ne vous dit pas plus, immersion garantie. Fermé le dimanche.

Vraiment très, très beau cadre, c'est qu'aurait pu être dans la réalité le Rick's Café. Non, ce n'est pas un fantôme, ni le "vrai" Ricks's café du film mythique "Casablanca" avec l'inoubliable Humphrey Bogart ! Excellent jazz le dimanche soir.

Essaouira
A hotel with most of "atmosphère", the welcoming, the food (table d'hôtes), the decoration... it's location in the médina very close to the fishing harbour,the roof terrace. Also offering a day pool & garden lunch in it's own farm outside town.

Located on the first floor in a very little, narrow back street of rue Agadir you will discover a messy, hippie style kind of shop which is in fact a restaurant with only a few tables. Coming from Ouarzazate, before entering Skoura, mind the indications and turn left, follow the very well marked track and arrive at this jewel of maison d'hôte! A small but paradisiacal garden with pool,all rooms are decorated with taste and very original furnitures, food is changing every day and simply delicious,all vegetable, herbs and fruits from the garden in your plate. High above Mirleft, in a former Spanish military forteresse - breathtaking sights on Mirleft, the sea and sun-downs. This hotel is simply and outstandingly charming! Time has stopped, an extremely relaxed ambiance, all is of taste and unpretentious distinction. Jean-François, the owner, slightly eccentric, very present, very kind, has a caring eye. Beautiful pool and terrace. For seafood lovers: Lobsters and crayfish fresh from the hotel's basin.

One of the oldest sea-food restaurants in town. Don't expect any poshy distinction, but will meet the local business matadors here. This estaurant is an institution in town and if you like sea-food and watching ...start by the bar, then ask for a table... good wine selection, fresh and unpretentious food.

No, it's not THE one (from the classic movie "Casablanca"- simply because THE Rick's Café never existed in reality. But it's owner Kathy Kriger created an outstanding place to be in Casablanca, which is such as Rick's Café most probably would have been! Ambiance, decoration, food, very professional service... the bar on ground floor with a distinguished piano player, a second bar on first floor for more discret conversations. Very good jazz quartet on Sunday evenings.
